Graphic Details
Electric furnace carbon blocks/graphite blocks for submerged arc furnaces are made of calcined anthracite, graphite powder, and metallurgical coke as the main raw materials, with coal tar pitch and coal tar as binders, and are formed by high-frequency vibration. They are used as refractory materials for lining submerged arc furnaces such as ferroalloy furnaces, calcium carbide furnaces, ferrosilicon furnaces, yellow phosphorus furnaces, silicon manganese furnaces, and calcium silicon furnaces. The use of carbon blocks/graphite blocks improves the corrosion resistance of the furnace lining, achieves the purpose of extending the life of the furnace lining, allows production to continue for as long as possible, improves the utilization rate of the furnace, increases thermal and electrical conductivity, increases the temperature of the molten pool, uses deep insertion of electrodes, and also saves various consumption caused by shutdown.
